Out in the middle of nowhere, but good food, at a decent price. We did the Friday buffet, and it was very good! Want to try the Saturday night buffet, for the shellfish.

Food on the buffet was good and staff was very lively and attentive. My only knock was some grumpy customers while they waited for some foods to be refilled. So, keep the fresh food coming with less standing and waiting. But I understand the process.

We came here on a Saturday for their all you can eat seafood buffet serving crab legs and lobster claws and prime rib steak with many others. We had to join a waiting list, got there at 4:30 when the restaurant opened and we didn't get seated til 5:45. We had drinks at the bar during that time so it wouldn't have been horrible other than we were on a time crunch to leave by 6:30. If and when we come back again, I would come before 4:30 or call and make reservation. Everything at the buffet was delicious, only thing that would have made it better was if they kept up on serving the crab legs, they would get emptied pretty fast and it would take approx 15 minutes to refill and since we were on a time crunch we didn't enjoy as much as we would have wanted.

We have heard amazing things about CH and we were still drooling when we left!! Colonial House is a supper club and an event venue, so it may look packed when you get there, but there could also be a wedding. We waited an hour for our table, but it was such a beautiful atmosphere (and the Badgers were playing), so we didn't mind. They have a HUGE bar area that wraps around and has the most amazing 1960s vibe. You check in at the host stand, and when your table is ready, they call it out over the PA system (party of 2, table 28). Then you can choose from the menu or the buffet (on Saturdays). $37.99 for all you can eat salad bar, soups, as well as surf and turf! I loaded up on prime rib, stuffed mushrooms and red potatoes, while my husband ate his weight in lobster claws! We are actually headed back this weekend because we need to take our supper club buddies now!

Colonial House Supper club is relatively unchanged over the past 20 years. Enjoy the nostalgia of this Wisconsin Supper Club experience in Freedom. I love the salad bar, eggs, bacon, sausage and chicken on the Sunday Brunch. Always has a large dessert spread and plenty of drink options. Service is great and the prices are phenomenal. Never disappointed when we stop by the Colonial House Supper Club. Recommend making reservations for the Sunday brunch otherwise be prepared to wait 15 or so mins to get a table if they're packed. They have plenty of seating so the wait is never too long.

My husband picked this place out to go to to celebrate his birthday. All you can eat seafood? I'm down! It was about a 45 minute wait to get a table but went by fairly quickly since we were able to sit at the bar. Overall the food was pretty good for a buffet and the pricing I feel was reasonable. It's quit the drive from our place so I'm not sure we'll visit again anytime soon. But I wouldn't be opposed.
